Joining the coolly angular Sharp-Edged Series, celebrating the fresh look of contemporary Japanese design, this exceptional Limited Edition is available only in a controlled production run of 2,000, with the serial number engraved on each caseback. Expressing "Akebono," the dawn, with its sense of new expectations, this stunning timepiece is inspired by the morning twilight, as the sky brightens with the sunrise. The three-dimensional, gloss coated, multi-layered dial, in rich gradated sapphire blue, includes rose gold accents to suggest the first glimmers of sun, as does the sharp sunray-like form of the markers and second hand. With date display and LumiBrite hands and markers, the dial also features the Presage Sharp-Edged Series' Asanoha hemp-leaf motif, a symbol of growth and prosperity dating to the Heian Period (794-1185 AD). Crafted of stainless steel, with black hard coating, this extraordinary watch offers a 24-jewel automatic movement, visible through the screwdown, see-through caseback, that beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and manual winding capability. A sapphire crystal features anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, while the tri-fold push button release clasp provides secure and comfortable wear. 10 bar, 100M Water Resistant.

I had an excellent experience at Safa. I submitted an inquiry online and they got back to me right away. I stopped in on a Saturday and decided on the Longines I wanted. Staff was very friendly throughout. Just a few days later (Christmas Eve!) I got a call that my watch had arrived. Made my holiday even more special.
